First of all, you'll need a client (there are loads of different clients out there, but back in the days, I used mIRC and it worked great so I'll use that in this guide too). mIRC webpage

Second step is to actually download the client (duuuh ) from the Download mIRC button.

Install the client you just downloaded (nothing weird here, just a regular install file).

Run the program and the "About mIRC" window will show, just press continue (if you dont have a registration key). Just fill in the form that comes up next. It doesnt have to bed accurate

Next up is to go to "Servers". If you cant find Gothador in the list, you'll have to add it yourself (as I did in this picture). This is the most essential to do. You can always check the other options, such as connect on start up etc...

Now we're almost done! Press this button and you're about to connect to the gothador network

Down where the arrow is write: "/join #TEW" without the quoatations and you'll join the TEW channel.


You're almost all set! You'll need to register to gothador too. This will only take a sec! When you're in the TEW channel, or in any other channel for that matter. Just write "/nickserv register yourpassword youremail". Again, without the quoationmarks.

To make things easier, I did this. A config. Go to Options -> Options -> Perform and write this in the box. "/msg nickserv identify YOURPASSWORD" and under you write; "/j #TEW". Make sure the "Enable perform on connect" is checked, it makes it all even easier
